List Of Recommended Binary Options Brokers and Reviews

Posted on by John Thiel

The information displayed below represents the essential trading guide and what I consider to be a must read for anyone wanting to register an account with a binary options broker. The guide below provides a snapshot of what we consider to be the initial and core elements required in order for you to make an informed and positive decision about where and how to invest your money. This chart does not take into account the assets list and trading features such as 60 second options, rollover, Up/Down, Boundary, Pro Trader, or Option Builder.

All of this information and much more can be found in the actual review available for each broker in the rating column. Additionally, before we post a review, one of our staff actually deposits, executes trades, and withdraws money. In accordance to our guidelines, we reserve the right to amend reviews or allow traders to provide feedback, particularly when it comes to cashing out winnings.

Key Terms

US Friendly: Due to binary options regulations not all brokers accept US traders. Therefore its crucial to choose an honest platform and one that has been scrutinized by our team of experts and are excluded from the scam broker category.

Demo Account: A demo account is basically a practice account which is given by the broker in order to start simulating trades. Most platforms wont offer it, however I know a few traders that opened a demo account with GTOptions and after they got a good feel for the trading platform and environment they decided to invest.

Payout Percentage: The payout percentage refers to the win/loss ratio the platform offers on trades. It usually stands at ~81% on standard call/put digital options, and can even reach 500% on touch.

Minimum Deposits and Trades: This is a crucial piece of information, since the first thing you would like to know if this is your first time is what is the minimum amount you need to deposit in order to fund your account and start trading. The same would go for the actual trades, the smaller they are the more you can extend the sessions. On a side note, I don’t recommend depositing less than $500 in any case because you need the safety of a high balance in order to start executing trades without the fear of depleting your funds at an early stage.

Bonuses and Promotions: Bonuses are a way for the broker to create a set of incentives for you and get you trading. It’s important to remember that bonuses carry trading requirements and can’t be cashed out in most cases, they simply allow you to accrue a balance and are deducted from the winnings. Other incentives come in the form or risk-free trades, VIP Clubs, cash back offers, tournaments, and so on.

Special Features:

60 Second Options (Including 2, 5 and 10 minute contracts): 60 Second (AKA Turbo trading) is by far the most popular feature available for traders wanting to experience an action-packed heart-throbbing trading experience.

Boundary: Take advantage of this feature if you believe the underlying asset’s value will reach the option’s expiry time within or without a pre-set range of values and in turn generate the payouts.

Option Builder: This feature allows you to customize your trades to fit your particular trading style. While this method allows more flexibility, it also requires more knowledge so I would only recommend this to experienced users.

Touch/One Touch: Instrumental for traders who ascertain that the price of an underlying asset will surpass a given level in the future but are not quite sure about the sustainability of the higher price. Available for weekend trading, this option offers exceptional payouts of up to 500% at times, however the risk is very high since the trading is not executed during usual trading hours.

Rollover: This is when the broker lets you postpone a trade if you believe the contract will expire out of the money. This carries a fee, and I don’t recommend you use this option unless you have to.

Above/Below Digital Options: This is the standard form of binary options trading. Simply select call or put and if you guess correctly your contract expires in the money and you profit.

Anyoption Special Section: Anyoption has really made an effort to differentiate itself from other brokers and is currently offering Option+, Binary 0-100, Binary Live, and Dynamic Return as a part of it’s unique platform. For more information about these features available only for non-US traders simply refer to the review section. Anyoption offers trading in Currencies, Commodities, Stock, and Indices, much the same as Redwood Options, GTOptions, and Traderush do.
